He is a proud member of the Chicago Film Critics Association and Vox Media Union.
He co-curated a list of the 100 best anime films with Toonami co-creator Jason DeMarco, contributed to Vulture’s list of the 100 most influential sequences in animation history, and served as a judge for the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
